Incredible, or is it? To be honest reader these programs are lying to you most of the times. I have to admit some will deliver on their promise to shed those extra pounds; however at what cost.</p>
<p>Generally your body will need around 2000 to 2500 calories per day in order to maintain your current body weight. So naturally if you were to reduce you calorie count then over time you will lose weight. Some diets might take this to the extreme in that they assume that if you eliminate things like fats then you will lose weight. They achieve the desired results but at a cost to your health. Additionally users of these so called healthy weight loss diet programs tend to gain the weight after they have completed the program.</p>

I also notice that ladies especially teenage girls like to go on the starve yourself diet. Again I cannot and will not recommend this method either as it can does more harm than good. So what do you do when you are faced with the challenge of losing a couple of pounds or when you seriously need to lose weight?</p>
<p>First thing to note is that before you undertake any form of weight loss program be it dieting or exercise consult a doctor. You can and will find tons of articles and websites dedicated to weight loss. However, you cannot believe everything you see and hear. Even the testimonials on those sites may not have been from actual persons that have lost weight, but from persons paid to write those stories.
